Terms and conditions.
Additional to the usual implied terms and conditions, the following applies to all confirmed bookings.
A binding contract of service will exist on receipt of a non-refundable deposit to Paul Martin Cotterell (referred hereafter as the provider) by the client or client’s agent.
The client to pay in full all outstanding balances by cheque 10 working days prior to the event, or in cash on the day of the event if so agreed with the provider.
The client to ensure building access is arranged such that enough time is allowed for installation of equipment (90 minutes) and dismantling and removal (45 minutes).
The client to provide adequate supervision of all guests, and to be liable for any loss or damage to equipment, vehicles or personnel belongings caused by guests.
The client to ensure provision of a safe, abuse free environment in which to work. Abuse will result in the immediate termination of services with full due payment.
The client to ensure that safe and adequate power supply is available. This is a minimum of two 13 Amp sockets.
The client to seek assurance from the venue operator to ensure adherence to byelaws, venue leasing conditions and any licenses or permits, required in law, are acquired by the time of the event.
The provider to ensure that all equipment is both electrically and physically safe.
The provider to submit PAT and PLI certificates if so requested by the duty manager or Land Lord.
The provider to conduct himself in a proper and polite manner throughout the event, and to respond to all reasonable requests from the client, host and guests. The provider will dress appropriately for the event.
The provider reserves the right to substitute a similar service in the event of non-attendance due to illness, injury or bereavement.
Instructions from the premises duty manager or land lord (as appropriate) to be respected and applied by the provider should they conflict in any way with that of the client, host or audience.
All client cheques should be payable to Paul Cotterell.
Statuary rights of all parties are unaffected.
